Park Head is the perfect retreat set deep in Halswell Park, Somerset and enjoys fine views over open countryside. Originally built as the Halswell estate veterinary and estate forge in the late 1750s, Park Head will be a stylish and contemporary residence complete with up-to-the minute conveniences you would expect of a Dunster Living property.

Park Head is very easily accessed from Junction 24 of the M5, which is 6 miles away, and there are great walks in the Quantock Hills from the front door of the property. The wonderful gardens of Hestercombe are only a few miles away, so too is Dunster Castle, and the sacred site that is Glastonbury Abbey is only 15 miles east.

How to get there
Park Head is easily accessed from exit 24 of the M5, which is six miles (ten km) away, and there are great walks in the Quantock Hills from the front door of the property. Bridgwater is the local town (home of carnival) and the large village of North Petherton is a short drive down the country lanes should you need a post office or that extra pint of milk in a hurry!

What is nearby?
A wide range of National Trust properties are within easy reach and other notable places of interest include the sacred site of Glastonbury Abbey, Dunster castle and the world famous gardens of Hestercombe. Special Note: Special Note: From August 2008 the renovation of Park Head will be complete and will comprise luxurious accommodation for entertaining and relaxing. Eleven bedrooms, generous living spaces and an indoor swimming pool will make Park Head stand out from the crowd.
